Knowing what to do Isn’t always enough

Knowing what to do
Isn’t always enough

You’ve probably heard the advice.

Set better boundaries. Say no more often. Delegate. Make time for yourself.

But knowing what to do is very different from understanding why it can be so hard to do it.

The Reiss Motivation Profile® is an assessment of 16 core motivators that helps you understand what matters deeply to you and how those motivations can influence the way you behave, make decisions and respond.

That awareness gives you something practical to work with, so you can make choices that fit you better instead of constantly trying to make yourself fit the advice.

Your Unique Motivational Fingerprint

The Reiss Motivation Profile® measures 16 core motivators and how strongly each one matters to you.

Your combination is unique much like a fingerprint.

There is no type to fit into and no “right” profile.

Your results can help you understand what gives you energy, what creates tension, what you need and why certain situations affect you the way they do.

The value is not just knowing what drives you. It is knowing how to use that understanding in your life.

What Changes When You Know

Guilt can start to
make more sense.

You begin to understand what may be sitting underneath it instead of automatically treating it as proof that you are doing something wrong.

Rest becomes
more personal.

You get clearer on what actually restores or satisfies you, rather than only doing what is supposed to help.

Saying no can
become clearer.

You understand what matters to you and why some situations make it feel harder than others.

Your decisions begin
to make more sense.

You can see more clearly what is influencing you and make choices that fit you better.

You can explain yourself
more clearly.

Things you have struggled to put into words finally have language.

The question begins to shift from “Why am I like this?” to “What is driving me here and what do I need to understand about myself?”

The science behind the RMP

The Reiss Motivation Profile® is an empirically developed, standardised and comprehensive assessment of what motivates an individual.

Its 16 core motivators were identified through statistical analysis of people's responses, rather than predetermined assumptions about what drives human behaviour.

Developed by Professor Steven Reiss, a Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at The Ohio State University. Professor Reiss published 17 articles in scientific journals about the test’s reliability and validity.

Still have question?

Whether you're unsure where to start or need a little clarity, we're here to guide you.

It can help you understand why certain situations affect you strongly, why some choices feel harder than others, and what matters more or less strongly to you.

That awareness can help you make choices that fit you better and communicate your needs more clearly.

Many assessments describe patterns in how you think or behave.

The RMP® looks a level deeper at what may be driving that behaviour.

It explores 16 core motivators and how strongly each one matters to you, giving you an individual profile rather than putting you into a type or label.

They give you a picture of the different needs and values that can drive you and how strongly each one matters to you.

The value comes from looking at your unique combination, not one score in isolation.

We spend two hours exploring the results that stand out and connecting them to your real life.

It is not simply a walk-through of 16 scores. We look at what your particular combination may help you understand about work, motherhood, relationships, decisions, stress or anything else that feels relevant.

Yes.

Your personalised report is yours to keep. Many people revisit their profile when reflecting on decisions, changes, relationships and different seasons of life.

No.

The RMP® does not give you a set of rules or tell you which decision to make.

It gives you insight you can use to make your own choices with a better understanding of yourself.

Your profile is not a list of strengths and weaknesses.

There are no good or bad motivators. Each motivator represents something that can matter to you, and the way it shows up can depend on your circumstances and experiences.

The goal is understanding, not judgement.

No.

The RMP® is a tool for self understanding and awareness. It is not therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions.

If what you are experiencing feels beyond self understanding or coaching support, please consider speaking with a qualified healthcare professional or therapist.

Yes.

The RMP® was developed through psychological research and statistical analysis and is designed as a standardized measure of human motivation.

No.

The assessment and certified debrief can stand on their own.

If you later want to explore something further through coaching, that is a separate choice.

Book a free 30 minute RMP® Consultation Call.

We can talk about what you are hoping to understand, answer your questions and see whether the assessment feels like the right next step.
